“Woodford House has a very effective support system of Year Deans.
These are teachers who students can look to for advice and guidance. I
believe their role is extremely important especially as students move up
the school. This network of staff is put in place to give students room
to grow within guidelines allowing them to reach their potential.”

Pastoral Care
Woodford House offers a friendly, intimate family atmosphere, where
the holistic development of the individual is encouraged and valued.
Pastoral Care is the responsibility of every staff member working with
the Pastoral Care Team. The team includes the Principal, Deputy Principal-
Director of Students, Year Deans, the Chaplain, Nurse, Counsellor and Boarding
Manager.
“The pastoral care team at Woodford really needs to be
recognised. The one thing I find excellent is the support given to me by
the school nurse. She is kind, friendly and makes you feel really welcome
in the Health Centre.”
